Rodney was always a hero who carved his own path with confidence and competence. Here's a well-met man who celebrated everyone else! It's a loss for us all.
Rodney was one of our gang growing up on S W 4 & 5 street. Then we had to start going to school. My sister Ellen (1959) and I were the only girls in the neighborhood but the boys accepted us. Lost touch once we graduated but I still remember all the fun we had.
I met Rod at Kinloch Jr. High, and we became friends almost at once. We remained friends until his recent passing. He and I were often mistook for one another in school and out. We talked about how long we had been friends and the fun times we had growing up. He will be missed by many, RIP brother Go Rest high on That Mountain...
