Gery went to Dade County Jr College , University of FL and graduated U of MIiami majoring in English. Lived and worked in Chicago for a few years then moved to New York City in 1966 until he went to University of Florida around 1970-71 for Masters in education. He and wife taught on military bases in Germany and south of Spain until retirement when they moved to Maine. Great wit and way with words. Convinced me to work summers in Catskill Mountains in 63 for college money which I did from 63-65 for tuition to U of Miami.
